The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority and Federal Bridge Corporation Limited announce a Bridge Rehabilitation Project on the Canadian Span of the Thousand Islands Bridge System.
A Bridge Rehabilitation Project (“Project”) on the Canadian Span of the Thousand Islands Bridge System will be taking place beginning on April 22, 2024, until October 18, 2024. This Project will require traffic control operations that will include lane restrictions, weekdays between 10pm and 6am, with alternating one-way traffic and full traffic holds at times. It is recommended that you plan accordingly during these dates for additional travel time.
Please note that the Canadian bridge sidewalk will be closed for the season to pedestrians and cyclists due to this project. The U.S. bridge sidewalks will be open for the season.
